Persona Templates

Update: The download file now includes both CS4 and CS3 versions.

Well, I’ve always been one to share my work. So, today, I’m sharing the source file templates for my data-driven personas. The main file is an InDesign (INDD) file and the visual chart is in Illustrator file. I’ve included a few versions, including PDF, CS3 and CS4. The CS3 and CS4 versions include a PDF.

Here’s a preview of the template. I’ve included two different DNA profile charts. Both charts are in the Illustrator file.

Looks interesting. I don’t have IDD CS4. Any chance you can post larger pics and/or add a detailed description?

Thanks for the -at first sight- lovely templates. Can you maybe provide a CS3 exported version as well, or do these use features only available in CS4?

so… you have become my new hero! I am currently a design student in the US and I have to say, I have gotten more out of your discussions on grids than any textbook or lecture has provided. Any chance you will be doing more “five simple steps” type work with other topics besides grids and typography?

Also, pertaining to this particular download… at the risk of sounding really stupid… what is “Persona”? Would love to download any template you have to offer and will probably use it regardless of what it is for but just curious. Looks like a site that matches people through the use of their genetic DNA make up. Kinda like eharmony but scientific. Is that it?

@Patrick I can post a PDF version and CS3 version of these to use. We’re a Mac shop, so I don’t use Visio.

@Cheryl personas are representative profiles of customers focused on behaviors. They’re contextual, meaning they are specific to a particular application or service.
